April 25, 2023 Annual School Election – Fredon Township & Montague Township
Ballot Draws to be conducted April 6th
County and municipal clerks across the State will be conducting ballot draws on Thursday, April 6th at 3 p.m. to determine candidate positions on Primary Election ballots.
Sussex County Clerk Jeff Parrott will conduct county-level draws at 3 o’clock in the Clerk’s conference room, located at 83 Spring St., Suite 304 in Newton. Candidates are welcome to attend the event. Paid parking is available in the Trinity Street lot behind the Cochran House Building.

County Clerk’s Office closed Mon., Feb. 13th & Mon., Feb 20th
The Sussex County Clerk’s Office will be closed on Monday, February 13th in honor of Lincoln’s Birthday, and again on Monday, February 20th in honor of Presidents Day. Both the Clerk’s administrative office and Records Room will be closed to the public on these two days.
