Early Voting Period Ends

MAIL-IN BALLOTS:
As of this morning, Nov. 4, 2024, the Sussex County Clerk’s Office issued 14,345 mail-in ballots. Of those ballots, 10,243 have been returned. Requests for a mail-in ballot can be made in person up to 3 p.m. today, Monday, Nov. 4th. Voters who are unable to apply in person or who are unable to get to the polls on Election Day can authorize someone to pick up a ballot on their behalf from the Clerk’s Office up to 3 p.m. Nov. 4th (see Authorized Messenger tab below).

IN-PERSON EARLY VOTING:
In-Person Early Voting concluded Sun., Nov. 3rd at 6 p.m. In-person Early Voting saw 24,180 Sussex County voters casting their ballots early on a voting machine.

Election Day polls open at 6 a.m. Tuesday morning, Nov. 5th! Voters should check the front of their Sample Ballot for their Election Day polling place, or visit the NJ Division of Elections website to use their polling place search tool.
